It is co-managed by BlackRock Institutional Trust Company, N.A. The fund invests in public equity markets of global emerging region. It invests directly and through other funds in stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. The fund invests in growth and value stocks of companies across diversified market capitalization. It invests in stocks of companies that are deemed socially conscious in their business dealings and directly promote environmental responsibility. The fund seeks to track the performance of the MSCI Emerging Markets Extended ESG Focus Index. iShares ESG Aware MSCI Emerging Markets Index ETF was formed on March 18, 2019 and is domiciled in Canada.
